On February 26, the iFood Food Cluster held its 2026 opening event at the Holiday Inn in Budaörs. The focus was on Industry 4.0, digitalization, and direct European Union funding opportunities.
The event was moderated by Éva Molnár, co-owner of Silver Tojás Kft., who ensured a dynamic and engaging professional program throughout the day. The event was opened by Linda Szommerné Egyed (iFood Food Cluster), followed by Margit Weisz, who presented the results of 2025 and the plans for 2026.
Zoltán Pogátsa delivered a thought-provoking presentation on current economic challenges. The small-group discussions were led by experts from Kometa 99 Zrt., SKC Product Kft., Viblance Hungary Kft., 1st Hungarian Sugar Manufactory Ltd., AMSA HIGIÉNIA Kft., and the South Transdanubian Engineering Cluster.
The practical application of Industry 4.0 was presented by Zoltán Beke (Mortoff Kft.), while the panel discussion was moderated by Jakab Rózsa (Zutora Kft.), with the participation of representatives from DigitLean Kft., Halker Kft., and Kometa 99 Zrt.
In the EU funding session, experts from Goodwill Consulting Grant Advisory Ltd., Capriovus Kft., the National Innovation Agency, and the cluster shared their insights and experiences. The Association for Sustainable Economy (KÖVET) was also introduced, represented by Katalin Herner, along with Halker Kft. as a new representative and H2H Kft. as a new supporting partner.
