On 17 September 2026, iFood Cluster took part in the KÖVET Club organised by the KÖVET Association in Budapest. The event was held at the premises of RevoUnion Kft. and focused on reuse systems and the circular economy. The cluster attended as a cooperation partner of the association.
The programme covered Hungarian regulations on single-use plastic cups and the impact of the EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR), particularly on hospitality, the events industry and corporate services. Participants learned about the history and circular business model of RevoUnion Kft., which the company presented in a talk titled “From reusable cups to Reuse as a Service”.
The panel discussion that followed explored the business opportunities and challenges the circular economy presents for companies today, and shared lessons learned from introducing reuse systems in practice.
The programme ended with a site visit, where participants saw the full process of RevoUnion’s reuse system in operation.
