On 12 May, a joint professional meeting of the iFood Food Industry Cluster and the Magyar Építői Progresszív Klaszter (MÉPK) took place at the Concepcio Showroom in Nagytarcsa, focusing on digitalisation, the application of artificial intelligence, and loss-reduction solutions.
The event was opened by Margit Weisz (iFood Food Industry Cluster) and Péter Kiss (MÉPK, Bau-Dekor Kft.).
In the first part of the programme, Dr. Csaba Huszty (Entel Műszaki Fejlesztő Kft.) presented the operation of the cluster app, a digital platform supporting communication, relationship-building and project generation among cluster members.
In the session titled “Loss Hunting: A Decision-Acceleration Day for Company Managers”, four experts shared their experiences. Ádám Békés (Value 4 Real) spoke about preventing design errors and the application of BIM and digital twin technology. Gyöngyvér Vitéz (SkillDict Zrt.) presented the importance of digital onboarding and building scalable knowledge systems. Attila Masa (Indeveyes Technologies Kft.) gave a presentation on AI implementation strategies and the risks of automation. Zoltán Beke (Mortoff Kft.) spoke about the future of artificial intelligence and humanoid robotics.
In the session titled “Progressive Lab: In Pursuit of Profit”, four workshops were held in which participants worked out concrete solutions together with the experts: reducing design errors through BIM and digital twin applications (Ádám Békés), managing knowledge loss and key-person dependency (Gyöngyvér Vitéz), developing a practical AI roadmap (Attila Masa), and industrial applications of AI and robotics (Zoltán Beke).
The purpose of the inter-cluster cooperation was to facilitate knowledge sharing between the two sectors – food industry and construction industry – and to explore practical application opportunities for digitalisation and AI-based solutions.
